How do I find what I am looking for?

The simplest way to find what you are looking for is to use the search bar at the top and start typing exactly what you are looking for. Alternatively click the category you want i.e. office, then click office desks, you will then be presented with all the desks we do.

 

I’ve found the chair I want but its not the right colour?

Check on the options to see if the colour you want is available, if not drop us an email or call us and we will see if we can custom make it.

 

I live in the Scottish Highlands – do you deliver to me?

Yes, we can arrange delivery to the highlands, However, there will be a premium to pay, just email or ring us for a quote or use the postage estimator at check out. 

 

Do you deliver to Ireland and the channel islands? 

Currently we have suspened all deliveries from the mainland, due to the new customs regulations - but wew hope to be back on track soon.

 

Do these items come flat packed or assembled?

The majority of wooden items are flat packed, Steel Storage is assembled, Chairs usually require minimal assembly such as putting on arms & wheels. Certain home furnishing is pre-assembled with the exception of beds, bunk beds, sofa beds, if you want to make sure, use our chat facility and we will check the specific item for you. 

 

I am not sure if I will be home when the delivery is due?

Please ensure you put a note on your order. Ensure you include your telephone number and request that delivery is booked in with you – this way we can call you before.

 

I have ordered something, I do not want anymore?

As long as the item hasn’t been ‘made to order’ we can take items back – however there will be a re-stocking fee and you must return the item under your own esteem notifying us beforehand. Please use the form in our ‘Terms & Conditions inc Returns policy.  If you are unable to arrange the transport, contact us and we will arrange this for you.

 

I have an empty canvas and want inspiration?

We can help! We have the ability to plan your space and create images for you giving you the look before you buy! Simply email sales@shocfurniture.co.uk an accurate list of room dimensions, a sketch of the room & a picture of two. If you want we can also visit the site for a standard fee of £150. We will take the measurements for you and bring wood & fabric samples for you to choose from, then send you images after a week or so for you to admire. If you proceed with the order, £150 will be applied to your account as part payment.

 

I have received my delivery, but something is missing/damaged?

Fear not! Simply notify us within 7 days of receiving your order, letting us know what the problem is and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent out straight away!

 

It say's free delivery but it is making a charge when i go to checkout?

For the most - delivery is free - However to be cost effective we have to have a minimum order value - this is currently set at £150. For orders below this there will be a small charge.

In addition some postcode areas, do carry additional fees, if you are over £150 you may still have a fee added this is where the courier imposes additional charges for that area.

 

I have seen a chair/sofa I like but I am not sure of the colour, can I see a sample?

We can obtain many samples of fabric & wood colours, we would rather you be happy and contact us for a sample for colourmatch, as returns can work out quite expensive!

 

 I have ordered a desk but do not know how to assemble it?

 If you didn’t know or select it at checkout, Shoc Furniture has an installation team who will put it together for you in no time at all! Alternatively ask us for a copy of the instructions, we should be able to obtain these from the manufacturer. Most home furnishings have the assembly instructions link in the description.
