Shoc Furniture is a new family business established in January 2018. We are based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire close to the M62 network. We supply All Kinds of School, Home Office & Canteen Furniture.

Whilst the business is new, the people who work here have over 30 years experience in the industry.

Diane White - Joint Managing Director/Sales Director/Founder

Diane's Career has always been in sales in one way or another. The first 10 years of her career was working for the Hallmark Group, where her career grew as she did, starting off as office junior and ending up as Area Sales Manager in the North, selling stationery. Diane first got into home furnishings working for a reproduction company based in Leeds and assisted in diversifying the business into Modern day living. After this Diane moved into commercial furniture and helped grow the companys turnover as well as implement a good working practice to get more from her team. After the company in which she worked for went into administration, she decided to fill the gap in the market that had been left behind and continue to service the many customer's in which she had built good rapport with.

Chad Holdsworth - Joint Managing Director/ Finance Director

Chad has been running his own successful security company for the last 20 years, whilst furniture is a new string to his bow, he has taken to it like a duck to water, by giving the hands on approach and assisting on installations. His attention to detail will ensure you are satisfied with every aspect of any installation.

Ian White - Senior Sales Manager

Ian has worked in furniture in one way or another most his life! He started his career with Sunwin House (Co-operative) Selling all kinds of homeware & furniture, He worked for a reproduction company for several years and helped develop a new arm to the business along with Diane. He was then struck down with a terrible illness and was forced into having a break from working life! After time had passed Ian desperatley wanted to get back to what he knew and loved. He helped create a new company offering bespoke reproduction furniture before getting into commercial furniture, as area sales manager. Fortunatley for us, he approached Shoc and asked for a job and we snapped him up!

Jake - Sales Executive

Jake Joined us as part of a Government Scheme to help get young people into work after the pandemic. He is a valuable asset to the team, fun, friendly, keeps us entertained and has also struck up an indestructable relationship with Lenny the Shoc Mascot.

Installations Team - James, Ian, Chad, Daniel

When theres furniture to be installed it is all hands on deck! Nephew James (far left) & son Daniel (far right) join the team. James previously worked with Diane & Ian as installer, so is more than capable to ensure everything is fitted quickly & correctly. Daniel is new to the world of employment and keen to learn, he makes sure everything is clean and ready to be used after install.
